But on June 23, 2016, I’m lying awake watching Bloomberg Television in my hotel room during one of my conferences in Las Vegas, awake at 2 am, and I’m neither cynical nor paranoid – I’m certain. It’s my favorite feeling in the world.

Salvatore M. Buscemi is the CEO and co-founder of Dandrew Partners, a private family investment office, and has managed money successfully for almost 20 years through the creation of multiple portfolios into various cross-asset platforms. This includes Dandrew Partners Encore Ventures, The Dandrew Partners Fine Art Enhanced Income Credit Fund, and various commercial real estate and special situation direct investment allocations.

His most recent work, Legacy Investing: How The .001% Invest, reveals the concerns, passions, and prejudices of the world’s wealthiest families and how that influences their investment decision-making.

In 2016, Mr. Buscemi with another family co-founded ACPARE®, the Association of Capital Placement Agents for Real Estate, the industry’s only accreditation body for buy-side industry participants that covers how to value, invest in, and raise capital for commercial real estate.

Mr. Buscemi is a frequent speaker and guest lecturer on real estate finance at professional symposia and has written numerous articles on the topic of real estate and private equity finance in various publications, including Investor’s Business Daily, Forbes, and on television shows such as CBS New York, and Good Morning LaLa Land.

Mr. Buscemi started his career at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking Division and is a graduate of Fordham University in New York City.
